Disable an Add-on in IE9 Internet Explorer 9

You want to disable an addon in IE9.

IT Solution

Its really easy in ie9 to disable addons.

 

Open up Internet explorer and on your keyboard press Alt + T and you will see the tools menu. Drop down to the manage add-ons section.

Once you have launched the manage add ons tool you will see this screen.

Then select which type of add-on you want to disable. Im going to disable an extension here called vuze toolbar.

Once you have selected the add on the disable button will become available. Click disable.

You then need to confirm that you would like to disable the add on. Do so.

Job done, I would advise you restart IE9 now.
