Microsoft Edge – Do You Want To Close All Tabs

In the nice new Microsoft Edge Browser when your first shut down the browser it asks the question “Do You Want To Close All Tabs? (always close all tabs)”.

edge always close all tabs

If like me you accidentally select yes ” Always close all tabs ” you will find that it remembers this setting moving forward and there appears to be nowhere in the web browser to revert this setting. However we can change this back with the following to stop Microsoft Edge shutting all tabs:

  1. Select Windows key and X.
  2. Select Run.
  3. Enter Regedit
  4. In Regedit search for “AskToCloseAllTabs“.
  5. Once found change the Dword value to “1
  6. Close Regedit
  7. Restart Microsoft Edge.

You will now find that in Edge you will now be prompted again when shutting down tabs.

    1. resizing edge window causes “Do you want to close all tabs” message.
2.You cant start a new window from edge icon.
3.Difficult to stop unwanted things happening
I hope they sort it out to make it easier to use reliably. More reliability in place of gimmicks would be good
