Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook, Unable to open the Outlook window
Problem
When you start microsoft outlook 2003, 2007 or 2010 you see ther message below pop up.
“Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook, Unable to open the Outlook window”
Resolution
This is down to part of your outlook profile becoming corrupt Fortunately this is an easy fix. Follow these instructions to do so.
1) Simply run outlook.exe with the extension of /resetnavpane. Or alternatively browse to the office folder and run the command below from command line.
Outlook.exe /resetnavpane
